Bollywood goes to Murmansk
One of India’s biggest movie stars Aishwarya Rai is coming to Murmansk to take part in a movie shooting.
The Indian film star and former Miss World is part of a 130 persons large group of actors, producers, managers and movie technicians that will spend two weeks in Murmansk shooting a scene for a thriller with the working title “players”, Russia & India Report writes.
The local railway station Pyavye not far from Murmansk is chosen for location for a scene where a train carrying gold is being robbed. According to the script the action takes place in Siberia.
Shooting will start very soon and will continue until the middle of May. The remaining scenes of the thriller will be shot in St. Petersburg and in other parts of Russia.
Earlier this month another world famous film star, the French actor Gerard Depardieu, was in Arkhangelsk to shoot scenes for a new film about the eccentric Russian monk Grigory Rasputin, as BarentsObserver reported.
