Direct flights from Helsinki to Barents Russia started
The Arkhangelsk-based airline company Nordavia yesterday started direct flights between the Finnish capital Helsinki and the northern Russian towns of Murmansk and Arkhangelsk.
The two routes are operated by an An-24 propeller aircraft with 40 seats three times per week, Hufvudstadsbladet reports. The flight time between Helsinki and Murmansk is 3 hours, between Helsinki and Arkhangelsk 2 hours and 45 minutes.
