Direct flights from Barents Region to Thailand

Starting from next January, you can fly directly from Luleå to Krabi.

11 hours from take-off at Kallax airport in Luleå to touchdown at Krabi on Thailand’s southwest coast. That is what TUI offers from next season, Affärer i Norr reports.

A return ticket starts at 8,448 SEK (€905) and the route will be operated with a Boeing 767.

Krabi is not the only intercontinental destination to get direct connection from the Barents Region next winter. In March, direct flights to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic starts from Luleå.

Prices, including hotel for two weeks, start at SEK 11,838 (€1,215). With a flying time of 11 hours and 15 minutes, the route will be the longest direct passenger flight ever operated from any airport within the Barents Region.
