Originally a network of Ukrainian nationalists, the Right Sector was formed during the protests in Kiev six years ago .

The Right Sector movement denies any involvement with the person now arrested in Murmansk.

«This, of course, is complete nonsense. We have seen for six years now the Russian propaganda has been using us in such horror stories,» says spokesperson for the group Artem Skoropadsky in a press-relase published on Wednesday.

He adds that there are supporters of the Right Sector in Russia.

They are «people who sympathize with the events on the Maidan and condemn the occupation of Crime, the war in Donetsk and Lugansk,» Skoropadsky says. He asks rhetorically: Thnk for yourself, why do we need to blow up any government buildings in Murmansk? What is the use of it for us? This is complete nonsense.»
