This is Norway’s new man in Murmansk
Erik Svedahl is appointed Consul General to Murmansk.

Mr. Svedahl was appointed Consul General to Murmansk by the King in Council on Friday, the Norwegian Government reports on its portal. It is expected that he will take over the position from the summer.
Murmansk is one of Norway’s largest Consulate Generals and one of three diplomatic missions Norway has in Russia. The two others are the Embassy in Moscow and the Consulate General in St. Petersburg. Also on Friday, the King in Council appointed Mr. Dag Malmer Halvorsen as new Consul General in St. Petersburg.
In Murmansk, Erik Svedahl takes over after Ole Andreas Lindeman that has been in charge since 2013.
Svedahl has formerly been Minister Counsellor with the Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok and Counsellor with the Embassy in Beijing.
Norway established its Consulate General in Murmansk in 1993 and p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Helvetica; color: #000000; -webkit-text-stroke: #000000}span.s1 {font-kerning: none}is along with Finland and Belarus the only to have a diplomatic mission to Russia’s Arctic capital.
Erik Svedahl will be the tenth Consul General for Norway in Murmansk, all men, following Ole Andreas Lindeman, Øyvind Nordsletten, Jon Elvedal Fredriksen, Rune Aasheim, Fredrik Arthur, Robert Kvile, Otto Hjorth Mamelund, Odd Gunnar Skagestad and Knut Hauge.
