Viktor Voronkov was born in Kargopol, Arkhangelsk region, on 26th of July 1981. He graduated from the Kargopol Pedagogical Collage as teacher of Arts. He served in the Army between 2001-2003 at the Mikhailov Military Artillery Academy and in the period 2004-2015 signed on contract with the 61st Naval Infantry Brigade in Sputnik, Murmansk region. In the period 2015-2018 he served on contract for Russia’s Arctic Brigade, the 80th Motorised Rifle Brigade in Alakurtti, where he commanded an unit of special intelligence landing unit.
