KIRUNA: The meetings in the Regional council and in the Barents Euro-Arctic council took place in Kiruna this week on several spectacular locations. See BarentsObserver.com’s photos from Kiruna.
BarentsObserver.com has taken both photos and and video from the meetings in Kiruna. On Tuesday representatives of the 13 regional entities in the Barents Region met in the Regional council.
On Wednesday the Foreign ministers of the four Barents countries met in the Barents Euro-Arctic Council. The meeting was held in the LKAB visitor center 500 meters below ground level, in one of the mine tunnels.
