Russia-EU visa-free plan by summer
Russia and the EU will finalize a stage-by stage plan to lift the visa requirement within a month, President Medvedev said on Friday.
- We are moving ahead in accordance with a special plan that is currently under discussion and should be finally agreed before the end of July, Medvedev said at a news conference after a Russia-EU summit in Nizhny Novgorod, RIA Novosti reports.
Medvedev said last summer it was time to scrap visa requirements between Russia and the EU. In December last year the EU and Russia decided to take concrete steps towards visa-free travelling.
