Støre, Lavrov hold visa talks
Norwegian and Russian Foreign Ministers met in Kaliningrad Monday.
Head of the Barents Regional council, Pia Svensgaard from Troms County participate at the Kaliningrad meeting that focuses on cooperation in the border areas between Norway and Russia.
Like the northern border areas, Kaliningrad is also to get its visa-free travel regime with Schengen-member Poland. The visa-freedom for inhabitants in living 30 kilometers on each side of the Norwegian-Russian border is expected to be implemented in 2012.

In addition to discuss further reliefs in the visa-regime, the two ministers discussed a wide range of issues related to Norwegian-Russian cooperation in the north.
