No more Lada
The Russian car was once the most sold vehicle in Finland. Now it is all over.
Lada, a trademark of the Russian AvtoVAZ company, will no longer be imported to Finland. The Finnish distributor of the cars, the Delta Motor Group, now announces that will end its Russian car imports.
In the 1970s and 80s, the Lada was the most sold car in Finland. Up to 10,000 new Lada cars were registered in the country every year, Itar-Tass reports.
The last models to be sold in Finland was the Lada Niva and the Lada 117 STW
Originally, Lada was the export version of the car, which in Russia was more knows as the Zhiguli. Over the last years, however, the car manufacturer has produced all its cars under the Lada brand.
