Norway won badminton Barents Match

Despite a troublesome start, the Norwegian team won the Barents Match in badminton recently, which was held in the Russian town of Apatity.

The Barents Match in Badminton was this year with Norwegian and Russian participation and was held in the town of Kirovsk on the Kola Peninsula.

In total there were played 32 matches of which 18 were won by the 14 competitors from Norway. This gave Norway an 18-14 win in the match totals.

- The results show that the Norwegian players still hold a high level in the game compared to others players in the Barents Region, says coordinator for the Norwegian team Kjell Kålheim.
