Communists double result in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug
According to the preliminary voting results of election to the State Duma, the United Russia party won an irresolute victory in Nenets Autonomous Okrug with 36 percent of the votes.
It should be noted that the United Russia’s result is 14 percent down compared to the result on the election to the State Duma in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug in 2007.
The Communist Party Cmw on second place with 24,8 percent - twice as much again as in the previous Duma election. Also the Liberal Democratic Party and A Just Russia have improved their results with 18 and 15 percent correspondingly.

The United Russia and the Liberal Democratic Party got maximal support from the countryside. The Communists and A Just party are more popular in Naryan-Mar, compared to the rural districs, the Nenets Election Committee’s web site reads.
