Chinese icebreaker with circular Arctic tour
“Snow Dragon” will sail both Arctic passages on its way to Iceland and back.
“Snow Dragon” is said to be the largest non-nuclear powered icebreaker in the world. It will sail the Northern Sea Route along Siberia’s northern coast on its way to Iceland and then the North-West Passage along the coast of Canada on the return.
The voyage will take place this summer, reports Arctic Portal.
