Finland’s President Halonen says visa-free travel with Russia may come sooner than expected if we set our minds to it.
President Tarja Halonen is in Moscow this week to discuss the roadmap towards visa-free travel between EU and Russia.
Tarja Halonen is meeting President Dmitri Medvedev and they will share their views on European security architecture, the strategic partnership between Russia and the EU in addition to the talks on the coming visa-freedom.
More and more Russians are traveling to Finland for shopping and vacation and visa-freedom could boost the Finish economy even more.
- Visa-free travel with Russia may come sooner than expected if we set our minds to it, President Halonen said in an interview with Rossiiskaya Gazeta.
