Not everything smooth with the ”Yury Dolgoruky”
Russia’s newest nuclear sub, the “Yury Dolgoruky”, today returned to Severodvinsk after a week of testing in the White Sea. –Not all is going as smoothly as one would like, Sevmash leader Nikolai Kalistratov admitted after the return of the sub.
Not everything is going as smoothly as one would like, Kalistratov commented after the mooring of the submarine in Severodvinsk today. –We still need to complete certain elements and systems, he underlined, but added that “all questions, I am sure, will be decided positively”, a press release from Sevmash reports.
As reported by BarentsObserver, the “Yuri Dolgorukii” last week headed off for testing operations in the White Sea.
The sub is the first in Russia’s fourth generation nuclear subs. The vessels are to carry the Bulava missile system.
