Not everything smooth with the ”Yury Dolgoruky”

Russia’s newest nuclear sub, the “Yury Dolgoruky”, today returned to Severodvinsk after a week of testing in the White Sea. –Not all is going as smoothly as one would like, Sevmash leader Nikolai Kalistratov admitted after the return of the sub.

As reported by BarentsObserver, the “Yuri Dolgorukii” last week headed off for testing operations in the White Sea.

The sub is the first in Russia’s fourth generation nuclear subs. The vessels are to carry the Bulava missile system.
