Albert and Gaby Facq were among at least four passengers who fell seriously ill with the Coronavirus after more than a week of cruising off Britain in March, on Norwegian shipping line Hurtigruten’s new expedition ship MS Fridtjof Nansen. The ship’s doctor did not diagnose Albert’s symptoms as Corona-related, however, and Hurtigruten continued to claim as late as mid-July that it had not had “any confirmed or suspected cases” of the Coronavirus “on any of our ships.”
