Finland reopens border for Schengen and EU travelers
The entry requirements introduced late last year will be lifted from February 1.

Travelers from EU and Schengen member states will no longer have to provide a certificate of a full vaccination or recovery from COVID-19 within the last six months and a negative PCR or antigen test no older than 48 hours when entering Finland, the government decided on Monday.
The strict rules have this winter limited cross-border travel on Finland’s land borders to Sweden and Norway in the north, as well as at airports and international ferry ports.
People entering Finland from Russia and other non-EU or Schengen members states, however, still need to provide documentation as listed by the country’s Border Guards Service.
In mid-February, the Government will make a new assessment of the entry rules.
